Alan G. Symons, Chairman & CEO of AGS Capital LLC, along with his partner Scott J. Weaver, President, purchased the business in October 2002. Alan and Scott bring substantial business experience, capital resources, and team leadership skills to this business. Their backgrounds of building highly successful, world renowned companies, has helped guide Superior Metal Technologies into an industry-leading metal finishing company.

Quality Control Assurance Process

Superior Metal Technologies is dedicated to offering the highest levels of quality assurance in the metal finishing industry. Our quality manual (pdf opens in new window) describes SMT's Quality Management System in a general sense.

Procedures and work instructions exist to provide a more detailed description of our Quality Management System. The scope of our quality management system includes the activities associated with the initial contact with our customer, through to shipment of our products, including customer feedback and reaction to such information.

Advanced High-Capacity Production Facility

The process of anodizing aluminum started around 1930. Superior has been in operation since 1936. Several of our highly experienced senior management and staff have been in the metal finishing industry for over 30 years each.

We have coating tanks 5-feet deep and over 30-inches wide – large enough to handle components up to 32-feet in length for anodizing or painting.
