Superior Metal Technologies (SMT) provides painting solutions for aluminum and alloys. Depending on the design, size and function of the aluminum parts, there are a number of paint and application options available, including electrostatic wet paint featuring Kynar 500® resins, and economical baked enamel coatings.

Painting Aluminum: Superior Products and Capabilities

Superior's painting division has been in operation since 1986, and has been EPA compliant for more than 10 years. We are authorized applicators for PPG, Valspar and Akzo Nobel paint products.

We have the capability to handle and paint a wide variety of aluminum and aluminum alloy parts, including:

Our high capacity production facility can handle and process most sized parts, from the smallest knobs, buttons and bolts, to massive curtain walls up to 32' long and two tons in weight,  generally meeting or exceeding the 10 day "industry-standard" lead time for project completion. 

Our in-house paint blending system for Kynar® resin paints and enamels, combined with our computer assisted Color Spectrometer, gives us the ability to create 1000's of custom colors by analyzing and matching a customer’s existing color sample, enabling us to offer shorter paint lead times and lower paint minimums for custom colors.

Our minimum project size is only one gallon of paint. As a part of our "customer friendly" service, we can provide you with cans of custom matched aerosol touch-up paint produced in-house, as well as pints and quarts of liquid touch-up paint.
